Which area do you serve?

Simply Sorted is based out of Kalamazoo, MI and will travel up to 25 miles. Locations outside of a 25-mile radius are subject to a travel fee.


What does a typical session look like?

In the beginning of a session, we will look at your space and talk about your struggles and your goals for the project. We will take every item out of the space and then sort them into categories. Once items are categorized, we will implement our customized system. 


How much do you charge for your services?

Simply Sorted has an hourly rate of $80, with a 3 hour minimum for each session. This hourly rate includes two professional organizers working together to customize your home.


How many hours will my project take?

This depends on the size of the room and its current state, as well as any emotional attachment that you might have to items or the space itself. Generally, in three-four hours, we can transform a small space like a closet or laundry room. 


Do I need to buy my own storage bins?

This totally depends on your budget and what you envision the space to look like. If you choose to gather containers from around your home, we will work to create systems with those. On the other hand, if you want a space that has a uniform look, you can purchase all new product. We can do the shopping and planning for you. We charge our hourly rate of $80 for shopping and planning services.


How involved do I need to be in the organizing process?

This is up to you! You can partner with us every step of the way, or you can let us do our thing, and we can show you the results. However; after we take everything out of the space, we will need your input on which items can be donated or thrown out.


What if I feel embarrassed about my dis-organized home?

This is SO common. Trust us when we say that we will absolutely NOT place any unhelpful or negative judgements on you. We have a deep understanding that everyone’s lifestyle, physical, and mental/emotional needs are different. We are here to support you and your goals.


Is it alright if my pets and kids are home?

Yes, but If you think our time would be most productive spent one-on-one, it may be helpful to arrange for childcare.
