Meet the Team

Allie is a coffee-lover, part-time social worker, full-time mom to two kids, wife, and wrangler of two dogs. Lauren is a Harry Potter nerd, plant lady, 3rd grade teacher, wife, and dog mom.

Together, we are Simply Sorted, a team of sisters who grew up right here in West Michigan. Believe it or not, Pokémon cards are actually where our passion for organizing began. We spent hours in the basement of our Mattawan home categorizing and sorting them into their little plastic sleeves and three-ring binders. Some days, we would decide to take out the (hundreds) of cards because they really should be organized alphabetically, or by color... And the list went on. Years later, we became homeowners and joked about how much joy we felt while browsing the container aisle at HomeGoods and organizing our new closets.

In 2023, we decided to combine our passion for organizing and helping others, which is how Simply Sorted was born!
